Configuring New Pipeline Tasks
To configure new Pipeline Tasks, click on Tools, then BankPoint Settings to go to the Settings area of BankPoint.
Note that you may see a different set of options displayed than the below screenshot depending on the modules used by your bank and the permissions assigned to your account.
If you do not see the BankPoint Settings, option, visit How To: Grant Security Settings Permissions to a User or contact your BankPoint Administrator.
Click on the Loan pill on the Settings screen to access the Loan configuration screens.
Select Loan Pipeline Tasks from the left menu and then click the Actions > Edit button on the right hand side of the screen.
Click the Add Item link to add a row for the new task.
Populate the fields to create a new task as follows:
Name: The new task name/short description i.e. "Receive customer balance sheet"
Loan Status: The status to which the task applies. Leave the field blank if the task applies to the entire life of the Pipeline Loan. If a status is chosen, then the task will only be displayed when the pipeline loan reaches that status.
Is Active: Use this flag to indicate that the task is active and should be used for new or existing open Pipeline Loans. The task will not be added to approved or completed requests.
Remove: Click the remove icon to delete a task that was entered by mistake. If a task has been used in a pipeline loan, you will not be able to later delete it and will instead need to clear the Is Active checkbox for that task type.
Tasks can be grouped into Task Sets. How To: Create Pipeline Loan Task Sets
On this setting screen, tasks can also be ordered by clicking on the icon left of the tasks, dragging and dropping tasks around the screen to the desired position. The ordering here controls how tasks are displayed on the Pipeline Loan screens.
